Rewinding

At Gouk & Sullivan we have the ability to rewind a wide range of electrical apparatus, both AC and DC. We can rewind DC armatures of any size including DC field coils. We also rewind AC motors and generators from 230 volts all the way up to 11,000 volts.

There isn't a rewinding we haven't been able to do, regardless of size or complexity

Our in-house insulation varnish process includes pressure vessels for vacuum pressure impregnation when required and dip tanks for saturating windings with varnish. When removing failed motor windings, our temperature controlled burn-out oven maintains the integrity of the stator core. It achieves this by maintaining the electrical properties of the interlaminar insulation.
